Religion in Punjab

In the 2011 census, out of Punjab’s population of 27.7 million, 16 million (57.69%) identified as Sikh, 10.6 million (38.49%) as Hindu, 535,000 (1.93%) as Muslim, and 348,000 (1.26%) as Christian. Additionally, 0.32% stated no religion and 0.32% identified with other religions.
